The FSCollectionFX1 is a set of 12 components that enhance the look and feel of your Flex applications and forms.

The collection of components focuses on background look & feel, color pallet, form controls and containers.

The first steps collection contains the following components;

- BackgroundFX
Container watermarking with border skin, 2 icons with padding, alpha adjustments and full layout positioning.

- GradientBorder
Add gradient backgrounds to your control or container's border skin. The class includes full background and border gradient support, angular presets, multiple corner radii and customizable highlights.

- BorderButtonSkin
This class uses all the same enhancements as the GradientBorder class but is used as a button skin. Also includes the ability to customize the button's border and hide background skins while maintaining a clickable surface.

- ColorListFX
A List component that can load XML swatch packets. Uses a custom swatch itemRenderer. Linear and radial gradients possible as well.

- ColorPickerFX
A ColorPicker component hat can load xml swatch packets.

- 10 default color swatch XML files.

- GroupContainerFX
A Container that implements margins, labeled border that uses the Container's icon and label properties, control placement and a control renderer that makes it easy to swap out what component is rendered in the border's control(see site for screen shots).

- GroupNavigatorFX
Uses the group container and has a ComboBox as the control renderer that switches between ViewStack children. This functionality is the same as the TabNavigator.

- FormFX
An extension of the group container that uses the same API as the Form class. It has been enhanced to allow for more liberal use of the form items.

- FormHeadingFX
Custom form heading control with title, titleIcon, subTitle, border, verticalAlign, titleStyleName and subTitleStyleName

- FormItemFX
A form item that has focus drop shadow, flag icons on the left and vertical align plus flag icon events and tool tip.

- FormSeparatorFX
This control acts like an HRule but contains an icon and label. Use it's vertical and horizontal align and border styles to create any type of rule you require.

- UnderlineLinkButton
Control the color, thickness and gap of the controls underline graphic.

With all of the components listed above, this collection helps you with your first steps into a more graphical and structured application or form.
