Tour de Flex is an application for exploring Flex capabilities and resources, including the core Flex components, Adobe AIR, data integration, and a variety of third-party components, effects, skins, and more.
The tool is designed to help event planners find conference centers easily, in a visual interface, that match their criteria. Utilizing the Google Maps API, the application replaces a legacy app that used image maps and required lengthy page reloads. The new tool has live filtering and integrates with the existing database of over 500 locations. Additionally it allows planners to select multiple properties for comparison and print out a PDF for later use.

It allows users to fully book their holiday online, adding ferry crossings, add-ons, insurance and multiple parcs. The entire process is all within the one UI, from initial selection of your parc (which can be seen via the in-app video) to the payment process.
This map system is intended to display information about walking paths in Iceland but in the future it is supposed to be used as a general tourist information map. The interface is in Icelandic.

I created the new web site of Charles Valcourt Design Inc., a designer of lamps made with wood essences, with Flex Builder 3. the biggest challenge I had with this web site was "no database available" during the development period. So I used XML files to create the catalogue of items and data structure of all the elements of the site. Those XML files are manage through an admin site build with Flex and ColdFusion (in order to manipulate the data and updating the XML files).

The DoD Travel Explorer (TraX) is a Flex application sitting on ColdFusion 8 used to enhance the travel needs of the Department of Defense Traveler. The applicaiton has a flex front end that interfaces with several third party applicaitons including but now limited to Yahoo Maps, Ilog Exlixir, RightNow Technologies, IJet Worldcue.
